Good Attitude and Faith Bring Miracles

¡HOLA! Estoy en el Campo!

This week has been so crazy and amazing. I arrived in the mission home in Antofagasta with 18 other missionaries. We got to eat empanadas and Completos (which is basically a hot dog with tomato, avocado, and mayonaise). The mission president and his wife took us to the sights of Antofagasta, one which is this natural arch in the ocean. My mission president is so amazing. He uses every opportunity he can to teach. He told me the process to having a great mission where both missionaries, and investigators/members are edified

1 have a good attitude
2 have faith
3 if you have both of those things, then the miracles wil come.

The next day I met mi mamita. Her name is Hermana Karjalainen. We are in the area of Iquique which is about 6 and a half hours north of Antofagasta. Hermana Karjalainene is from Finland and has been in the mission for a year. she has already taught me so much, and I've known her less than a week!

I am so excited for when our investigators are able to be baptized. This week we had 9 attend church! with a little bit more time, many will be ready for baptism. I am so blessed to be in a mission where there are so many ready to accept the gospel. President Ferreira says that it is possible for every companionship to baptize every month in the misson, and in some places every week. I am working hard to try and meet that goal.

Love and miss you all!
