We Are All In Over Our Heads

¡Hola Everyone!

This week has been awesome at the CCM. It is our last week so our district has been trying to work super hard. We started this game where we split our district in half, and have to speak only español except for in the Comedor and in our casas. We count how many english words the other team has said and then whichever team has more has to buy the other team candy from the tienda.

It has been a really spiritual week. The area seventy for mexico came this tuesday to give a devotional. He talked about us as missionaries, we are all in over our heads, but that is the point of a mission. We need to be in order to fully rely on the Lord and the Spirit as we teach people about his gospel. That is something I really needed to hear because in about 5 days, I am going to be in another new country listening to chileans speak spanish I don't even understand. I want to focus on relying on the Lord to help me teach, because there is literally no other way it can be done. I love this gospel so much and want to share it with everyone, but in order to do so, I need the companionship of the holy ghost, and the humility to rely on the savior, or these people will not be able to find out for themselves the truth that we teach. We

Today my companions and I decided to take pictures of some of our favorite things. Our favorite palm tree, our favorite tiny palm tree, and our favorite houses on the hill outside the CCM. All the houses here are so colorful, I think my favorite is this tiny purple one in the top corner. I think all the bright colors are one of my favorite things about mexico city.
