HAY BAUTISMO!

This week we had a baptisimal service for our investigator Sergio, and Juan Pablo, the investigator of the other hermanas in our ward. Both of them are super amazing and have been prepared by Heavenly Father. It was such an amazing experience to watch, I never thought I would be so happy for someone else to be baptized, but this is what we are here to do. This is the gateway. This is how we grow closer to Christ, and afterwards, we keep our covenants with God, and try every week to be better starting with taking the sacrament. Both Sergio and Juan Pablo were confirmed this Sunday which was super special as well. I feel like confirmations are almost better than baptisms, because only after confirmation is a baptism complete and only after confirmation can we have the gift of the Holy Ghost.

We have two investigators that are preparing for baptism.  Cecilia, who has a smoking problem, really wants to be baptized, but she needs to go 1 week without smoking first. So we are trying to help her out as best we can to help her come closer to her Heavenly Father.  Gabriela, she says she needs to recieve an answer first. The thing is, she has already received an answer, and just needs to recognize the spirit. This is what we are working on with her. Please keep both in your prayers.
