If Everyone Took Just 5 Minutes...

¡¡¡Hola!!!

Ok so Presidente Ferreira is kinda crazy and kinda awesome. This week all of the zone leaders and hermana lideres went to Antofagata for the monthly Leadership meeting. When they all came back, we had entrenamiento de zona, and they announced that Presidente has a new vision for the entire mission: Cada Campañarismo, puede, y debe bautizar cada semana. Translation: EVERY COMPANIONSHIP CAN AND SHOULD BAPTIZE EVERY WEEK. I am so blessed to be serving in this mission, where so many have already been prepared to not only hear the gospel, but choose to accept it and be baptized.
Por ejemplo: (for example): just the other day we were walking down the street and we found Luis outside his house and started talking to him about his dog (he has a pit bull puppy). As we continued to talk to him, we started to share the gospel. He invited us into his house and told us that the only thing he wants is to help his son, who has been going through a lot of rough things. We testified to him that the best thing he can do for those around him is be baptized and recieve the gift of the holy ghost. He told us that he wants to be bapitzed!!!! We are so excited for him, and can't wait to see what he can do for his family. The gospel really does change lives, I have seen it happen. I can see the change in people's hearts when we talk to them for no more than 5 minutes. If everyone took just 5 minutes to share something they love about the gospel, just think of how many people's lives would be changed for the better.
Aslo another thing, I’m done with entrenamiento!!! That doesn't necesarilly mean that I know what I'm doing right now, pero está bien because I don't think I ever know exactly what I'm doing. Confío en Dios y no mas. (I trust in God and no more). I have anothe cambio with hermana Karjalainen, but the Hermana Masina is going to Antofagasta and the Hermana San Juan is coming here. She is from Argentina and it's kinda crazy because when I got here, Hermana Arboleda, was the only Latina, but now I'm the only Gringa in the pension. It's great though because I get a lot of help with  my spanish.

Love and miss you all!!!!!!!
