Star Wars Is Like The Gospel

Hola y Feliz Año Nuevo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week I learned a lot about how Star Wars is like the gospel. Cristian, one of our investigators who is 9 explained to us—

Yoda is like God

The missionaries are the resistance

The people who get baptized are like the Jedis because they have the force (or the holy ghost)

This conversation that we had with him is just a testament to me that we really need to listen to the Holy Ghost when we teach, even if it says, "talk about Star Wars..." It was the first time we were really able to connect with him and help him to get excited to be baptized.  

This week we also had a huge miracle happen, the Noche Blanca (the white night) where 8 people in the entire stake decided to get baptized. Although we didn't have anyone get baptized from our ward, we had the opportunity to attend and the spirit was so strong with all these peole eager to follow the example of Jesus Christ.
