Hit A Milestone...

This week was pretty awesome. We had conferencia de Zone on Tuesday which was really great. I got to see Hermana Knudson agian (even though I see her almos every P-day because she still lives in the same city as us). Presidente talked a lot about the imoportance of working with members and our job to help edify the kingdom of God here, and how members who are established here have a key role in helping new converts stay active in the chuch. I am so greatful for all the opportunities I have to meet members of the church here because all of their conversion stories are AMAZING and we get to help them share their testimonies with everyone else. Its super awesome because we are finding lots of new families that are able to see how the gospel can bless their own families through the blessings that others have already received.

Another thing that happened this week is that I kind of hit a milestone in the mission 9 meses, or 9 months. I've made it half way and I'm excited to see what miracles the next half brings :)))

I've kind of learned to be numb to gross stuff here because nothing is really clean here. Even after you try and clean something, it's still pretty dirty. I am grateful that at least we don't have a cocroach problem in our appartment. We had a lot of cocroaches in Iquique and there are a lot in the houses of other time.  Like one time we went to make chocolate chip cookies with this family, and we turned on the oven and when it started to heat up all of these cocroaches started to come out because they didnt want to get burned up inside...😲 but thankfully that kind of thing doesnt happen to often. This week we are really excited because we are finding so many families that have lots ok kids AND almost all of their parents are married :). (Eternal Families!)
