Miracles Around Every Corner!

This week was pretty awesome!!!!! Obviously because I got the chance to skype with my family :) It was really great to see them and no one cried so that was good.

Most of the week we have been focusing on Pablo, who we found a couple weeks ago, and has come to church a couple times, but with whom we haven’t talked for probably almost two weeks. But Heavenly Father is awesome and knows that Pablo needs the gospel, and so by some miracle we were able to find him ever single day this week. But everytime we ended up finding him, it literally was a miracle. When we scheduled to visit him, at his house he was almost never there. We had been praying so much because we knew that this was the will of the Lord, and that we did not want our efforts to be for nothing. Everytime we prayed, the miracle came and we would find him around the corner, or walking home from school. We were even able to find his mom and she gave him permission to get baptized this saturday!!!!!!! (Come to find out that she is actually a member.). We are super excited for him.

Also, kind of a funny story: So Daylight savings happened here this weekend, but for some reason we didn't know about it, and the other hermanas that we live with didn't know either. So we being good little missionaries got ready and out in the street to knock on doors and wake people up for church at 8:30 am. We were very confused because all of the streets were super quiet, and no one was answering their door. (Except for Pablo which I will explain in a second). Then we get a phone call from the other Hermanas saying that it is 7:30 IN THE MORNING!!!!!!!! and that we could have slept for a whole other hour... After that we just decided to sit and laugh for a little bit, and hope that we’ll remember for next time, so we dont end up an hour late for church :P As for Pablo, we did actually wake him up at 7:30.  He doesn't have a watch so he showed up an hour early to church, but it's all good because he's getting baptized this week :)

For P-Day we went to the museum of the Valle de Azapa (Azapa Valley) that has the Oldest mummies in the world, which was pretty cool. They also had a lot of other artifacts of the people indigenous to the area who lived in the times right after the Book of Mormon was written. It was really cool to think about how The story of Lehi and his family coming from Jeruselem fits into the history of the Ancient Americas.

Love and miss you all!!!!!!!
