Celebrating Christmas in July

Hola!!!!

This week was pretty awesome. We had Conference in Antofagasta where we got to listen to presidente, and see all the other misionaries who are in Antofagasta and Calama. This conference we talked a lot about why we came to the mision and for what did we come. Talking about it made me think that there are many people who know I am here who I never really told why.

I decided to serve a mission becase I know that this is what my heavenly father has asked me to do. I came because I know that  my family is an eternal family and I want to be able to share this knowledge with others. I decided to be a missionary because I know that this is the most important work there is to do in the world. We are not only saving lives, we are saving souls. I came to Chile because I know that there is no other  way to return to live with our heavenly father but through following the teachings of or Savior Jesus Christ and being baptized by His authority and in His name. I came to the mission because I want to help prepare a world ready to receive the Savior when he comes again.

I want to invite all of you, members of the Church of Jesus Christ, or not, to act now and come closer unto Christ. He is waiting with his arms open for everyone. Invite the missionaries to meet with you in your home, and to meet with your friends and family, because they have a message that everyone needs to hear.

Since Wednesday was also the 25th we decided to celebrate Christmas in July by eating pancakes and singing christmas hymns around our teeny tiny christmas tree.
