Visit From Elder Christofferson

Hola!!!!!!!!

This week was pretty awesome because we had the great opportunity to come together as a mission and receive a visit from Elder D. Todd Christofferson. It was an amazing experience; as he walked through the door, I could feel the spirit testifying of him as a special witness of Jesus Christ. Elder Christofferson, along with his wife and all the other speakers, spoke a lot about the importance of the scriptures. Through reading the Book of Mormon we can receive the answers and personal revelation we need to help others and ourselves in this path back to our heavenly father. It was great reminder because I always tell all the people we are teaching that we talk with  Heavenly Father through prayer and he talks with us through the Scriptures. Their words just reafirmed my testimony that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and the word of God tells us everything that we need to know and do.

Angels speak by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore, they speak the words of Christ. Wherefore, I said unto you, feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do.  (2 Nefi 32:3)
